Margarita Georgiadis was at Cremorne in the 1980s. Despite opposition, the spirited student had set her heart on a life in the creative arts.
Her dream came true when she successfully applied for entrance to the National Art School. Since her graduation 29 years ago, the artist has enjoyed an illustrious career.
She has been a finalist in some of Australia’s most notable art prizes, such as the Archibald Prize and more recently with her painting Luminesce, a finalist in the 2012 Portia Geach Memorial Award.
